Ozzy Osbourne is gearing up for one final performance despite no longer being able to walk as his Parkinson's diagnosis progresses.

The year-old announced that he is reuniting with Black Sabbath and will return to the stage one last time for "the greatest heavy metal show ever" at Villa Park in his hometown of Birmingham on July 5,

His health woes began in when Ozzy was involved in an ATV accident; this led to extensive back surgery, where he had metal rods placed in his spine.

Ozzy's spinal issues didn't stop in ; sixteen years later, the rocker suffered a nasty fall in his home, which dislodged the metal rods and kick-started his long health journey.

It was discovered that he had the neurodegenerative disorder after a fall at his Los Angeles home, which required him to undergo surgery and aggravated a year-old spinal injury.

Appearing on Good Morning America with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy admitted the diagnosis was "terribly challenging".

    Ozzy Osbourne&#;s Parkinson’s disease has progressed to the point where the musician is no longer able to walk. Speaking on his SiriusXM program Ozzy’s Boneyard this week, Osbourne discussed what fans can expect from his final live performance, which will include a reunion with Black Sabbath.

    “I have made it to ,&#; Osbourne said. &#;I can’t walk, but you know what I was thinking over the holidays? For all my complaining, I’m still alive. I may be moaning that I can’t walk, but I look down the road, and there’s people that didn’t do half as much as me and didn’t make it.”

    Black Sabbath will perform together live for the first time since at what’s being called Back to the Beginning, an all-star, one-night-only charity gig in Birmingham, England, on July 5. Also on the lineup for Osbourne’s farewell party at Back to the Beginning: Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, and more, with Tom Morello serving as musical director.

    Ozzy Osbourne can no longer walk as his health continues to be impacted bygd Parkinson’s disease.

    On Feb. 5, Sharon Osbourne, 72, spoke to The Sun about her husband’s battle with the disease while sharing her excitement that Ozzy, 76, will be reuniting with Black Sabbath for the first time in 20 years for his final concert in July.

    “He’s very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this,” she said.

    “Parkinson’s fryst vatten a progressive disease. It’s not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body and it’s affected his legs,” she added. “But his röst is as good as it’s ever been.”

    Ozzy discussed the condition of his health on his SiriusXM radio show, the outlet reports. “I have made it to ,” he said. “I can’t walk, but you know what I was thinking over the holidays? For all my complaining, I’m still alive.”
