    HUR VÄLJER JAG RÄTT SKYDD OCH VAD BETYDER ALLA DESSA MARKERINGAR OCH OLIKA TYPER AV MUNSKYDD?

    Det finns två olika typer av skydd: mun- och nässkydd och andningsskydd. Mun- och nässkydd (munskydd) delas i kirurgiska munskydd och munskydd av tyg. Andningsskydd (PPE=Personal Protective Equipment) är mer effektiva och de täcker luftvägarna totalt. Dessa används inom sjukvården, speciellt bland personal som arbetar med COVID patienter.

    MUNSKYDD

    Kirurgiska mun- och nässkydd är grundläggande skydd för både privat bruk och hälsovården. Munskydd har använts inom hälsovården redan i tiotalsår. På basen av dessa erfarenheter har användning av munskydd haft en betydlig inverkan på förhindrandet av att smittor sprids.
